Howdy!
I’m Rick and I’m a tubaholic. Welcome to my blog.
I design and build custom tube amps and custom wood enclosures for professional and amateur players.
There’s always room for one more when it comes to discussion groups/blogs about guitars, amps, music, and the players.
In the next few weeks I’ll be constructing this blog site, trying to make a comfy den in which to indulge ourselves into the world of custom amp building. I hope you join me on this blog to discuss all things about tube amps, guitars, the music biz, or anything worth airing.
Please be patient and let me know if I’m doing something right or wrong.
Bookmark RAWOODS.COM and return as often as you like.
If you’re looking for a speaker cabinet, combo cabinet, complete amp, my bench is OPEN.
Thanks for stopping by!
Peace, Rick

WOW!!! I haven’t seen quality craftsmanship like this since my grandfather’s wood working. Absolutely beautiful, Rick!

The products are superb, but more important, the personality, excitement and commitment of the craftsman come through so clearly. Nice site: great stuff.
Next thing- I need a drum amp.

In a world filled with common competitors, I have discovered a very uncommon craftsman. Rick is the Stratavarius of cabinet construction and everytime I play through his 15″ tone ring cab he built for me, I can only grin. Pleasing to the eyes, yet put together to outlast my mother-in law. What a value, and made a friend along the way.
